38 weeks induction ended in a c-section (no pics)

First time mom.

Long story short: I was having bad contractions. I thought it was Braxton-Hicks. I was dilating so that’s why I had a lot of pain. I was admitted at 8:00 pm. Didn’t get the cervix softer since I was 1cm. At 6:30am the next morning, they started the pitocin. The baby couldn’t handle it and his heart rate kept dropping. Hours passed by and I didn’t dilate pass 3cm. I was in labor close to 24 hours. My doctor decided to do a c-section. My baby was born healthy. He is tiny (5 lbs 12 oz).
