What do you use to wash your newborn’s clothing?

Is Dreft the only option? Or would some of the “crunchy” brands be an option instead? The Dreft makes me worried because the smell is so strong.
Edit: holy moly! Just looked it up on ThinkDirty app. My hunch was correct!

We use seventh generation free and clear or whatever with no scent. It’s cheaper and cleaner than dreft and works wonders

I used tide free and gentle with bounce free and gentle dryer sheets for the first month or so. Now I just wash her clothes with regular tide it gets too expensive to keep buying two different laundry soaps

Tell me more about this app please , I've never heard of it!!!! ! I actually absolutely love the smell of dreft but if there's something better/healthier, obviously affordable too, I'd love to try it. I stopped using All free and clear because the clothes never looked nor smelled clean. I use dreft on my own clothes too. My husband uses Ecos with the lsvrndat scent. I'm open to opinions and input. My parents use Amway (or whatever it's called now) & I don't know if it's the better water or their detergent but it always smells clean, not perfumed, and is visibly cleaner. Unfortunately I'm in a bad hard water area.

Antony with a 3 or less on Think Dirty is good.  Tide even has a good option, but my family is plastic free, so we are transitioning to Dropps.
