What age did you just give your baby water from the tap?

I've recently just stopped boiling water and my son's actually started drinking it now and he's 28 weeks NHS website says u can stop boiling at 6 months but I'm getting ear ache from my mum as she says i should only stop at 1 year 🤦

I never use my tap water. It’s full of lots of iron and tastes and smells horrible, plus we use a water softener that has salt and other conditioning agents in it. Unfortunately, we use bottled water for everything.

I stopped at like 2 months. My pediatrician said it wasn’t necessary at all.
