When does it get easier?

When my baby was first born and those first few weeks of crying and sleepless nights people would say 'dont worry it gets easier' well fast forward to 8 weeks old and I'm still as clueless as ever, I mistake tired cues and hunger cues, when my baby crys she only want me and boob, she doesnt sleep long in the day..... so my question is, when does it get easier?!

It doesnt get easier. You just adapt to a new lifestyle called parenting.

It doesn't get "easier" you just get used to it! My son started sleeping through (10-12 hours) from 7 weeks to 4 months and ever since then I'm lucky to get 3 hours without him waking screaming from teething but I'm managing coffee is my best friend !

8 weeks isn’t enough time. At 10 months I’d say I’m better able to handle it but I didn’t start feeling that way until maybe 7 months when I started getting four or five hours of sleep in a row.

Mine got easier around month2-3. It never gets easy but I became more confident.

That’s a lie to give you false hope... my son didn’t start sleeping through the night from 7:30-8am, he still wakes once around 11-12, till he was 9 months... he’ll be 10 months on the fourth. And guess what?? That’s COMPLETELY NORMAL... they don’t tell ya that tidbit till your 5-6 months in and damn near hallucinating😩😡

For me, around 4 months. The 4th trimester is hard lol they’re still newborns until 3 months

First year was rough for me. My daughter is now 2 and it’s sooooo much better!/‘. She’s so fun and actually sleeps so she’s not always screaming’ lol

For me 6 months in I was like ok I got this lol he started sleeping longer and I knew him better 
Right now I have baby #2 and she’s two weeks old. I’m still confusing her cues because every kid is different.
