He Made Me Cry At 20 Week US 😭

Today was the 20 week level II ultrasound and our little nugget is doing great, measuring right on schedule with all the bits and pieces she is supposed to come equipped with.

Afterwards we are waiting in the room for the tech to get back and tell us we can go when my fiancé starts talking about a woman at the gas station yesterday. “She has big dinner plate eyes” (I don’t have big eyes) “and high cheekbones” (nope, those either) “and she turns to me, blinking those long lashes with a huge smile” (fuck I’m 20 weeks, fat, with blotchy skin and thin lashes) “and then I see her teeth are like little tiny baby teeth with a gap in between each one.” And then he put his hand in front of his mouth with his fingers spread all different directions and bugged out his eyes.

I laughed and then cried! I was all ready to be hurt because he was noticing other women. When he saw the tears he felt awful, he was just trying to make me laugh, and he has kept telling me all day how beautiful I am, how lucky he is, everything he loves about me. ❤️

New rule: for the next four months don’t even mention another woman’s appearance. 😂
