bacterial vaginosis

so i got on the iud feb 28th and then started spotting the friday after. i spotted for 2 ish months then stopped for a day or 2 (or at least was SUPER LIGHT) then it came back but with an odor so i went to check and i have bv. ive been using the 5 day night gel. what’s it supposed to look like? (in your panties lol) i’ve been getting thick chunky red/brownish clumps since taking it. the odor went away the first day which is nice and i’m on my last day so i assume this is normal. i just wanted to make sure. i don’t spot anymore besides this chunky discharge type thing. 😅😅
