When did your child outgrow naps?

My daughter quit napping right after 2. She’s 5 and I feel like she could use a nap here and there.

My 3 year old still naps and it makes a difference. On the days she misses nap time she's cranky and tired the last few hours before bedtime.
She did go through phases where she fought naps a few times but it just took some adjustments to her schedule to get her back on track (like figuring out her new nap time needed to be an hour or two earlier or later). Sometimes it seems like they're ready to stop doing naps when really they're just changing their patterns.

Ideally, children should be taking a nap a day until the age of 5. It's so incredibly important for their brain development.

He dropped the second nap at 1, and at 2 he was touch and go with the 1 nap. By his 3rd bday, he was already adamantly fighting naps whether at daycare or with me. We tried so many methods but he simply did not need them anymore. He wakes up around 7:15 and goes to sleep at 8:30, so about 11 hours of sleep a night.
