Really hate doctors

I’ve been having a lot of issues with my period, I’ve had 2 cycles since October and I had a cyst burst in December. Ever since then I’ve been in a good bit of pain. Been to the doctor twice and they did a bunch of bloodwork this last time. I called for my results and they said everything was normal. They wanted to put me back on birth control to try and help control it. I refused the birth control because it was horrible to my body. I was emotional 24/7, headaches & I gained a ton of weight. I called the doctor again today because I’m in severe pain. They then proceed to ask me if I picked up my metaformin. Well no. Because no one told me about it. What’s that? She goes oh it helps with PCOS and Diabetes. Um. What. She goes yeah your bloodwork came back and you’re a borderline diabetic and you have PCOS. Well alrighty then. That would’ve been good to known a month ago. 😒

Sorry for the rant. But does anyone have any advice with PCOS? What helps the pain, etc.
