Depression meds start periods, but now short one?

Rachel

Sorry if this is long...

To give a bit of background: I’ve never had regular periods as I’ve had PCOS since I was a teenager. The periods I did have would come months/years apart if I didn’t regulate it with birth control. Well, I stopped birth control last year because I’d hoped to get started trying to conceive (or at least not actively trying to prevent pregnancy). I was still not regular until ~6 months ago when my doctor put me on an anti-depressant. All of a sudden my periods came fairly consistently at about 30 days and lasted for about 4-5 days.

This cycle I had an unexpected bleed at 23 days. It was like a quick burst of light brownish blood and then just spotting for the next 24 hours and then nothing.

I don’t have any other symptoms that would lead me to think it’s implantation bleeding except for a funny taste in my mouth occasionally.

I don’t know if I should track that as my period or not? Anyone else have random super short periods?
