IUD Intercourse Pain

I got my Paragard IUD on Feb 7, and everything has gone beautifully. Everything I have experienced my doctor prepared me for and I couldn’t be happier with the ultimate outcome. However, I do experience intense pain during deep intercourse. Most positions are fine, but whenever my fiancé gets deep enough to touch my cervix, it feels like having it inserted again and I’m sore for a day or so afterward. I don’t want to pay a copay if I don’t have to. So is this common? Does it go away after a few more months? Or should I go to the doctor? I want to be clear, sex in general is NOT painful. Only deep penetration like from behind.
