If anyone is on the fence about vaccinating, please think of our story. Our immunocompromised 3 month old baby was exposed to measles. An adult born after 1969 didn't get the necessary vaccine booster and was out in public while contagious. We now have to wait 4 weeks to see if our baby will contract this extremely contagious disease. We are terrified, I have been crying every day since we found out. This disease could kill him, he doesn't have a fully functioning immune system to be able to fight it off and he's far to young to be vaccinated. This isn't just about your child, it is about people, like my son, who rely on herd immunity.
