When to start washing baby clothes?

I have all my baby clothes ready when should I start washing them?

Answer

I started washing mine around 25 weeks. I mainly washed onesies and sleepers. Those are things that she’ll wear regardless of the season. Things like dresses and outfits that are season specific I haven’t washed yet Incase she’s bigger or smaller than the indicated size and it’s not weather appropriate. Like at my baby shower, I got quite a few sized 6 month summer dresses—for a baby born in July. When shes 6 months old, it’ll be January and not weather appropriate. So I havent washed them.

I’d wait to do them a week at a time... these babies grow so fast and once you pop the tags, you may not be able to exchange
