Advise with dealing with my noisy neighbor

It's kind of long sorry! I rent from a private renter and my next door neighbor is the loudest person I've ever met. He has two kids, single parent. Not only are kids kids running up and down their apartment but he is continuously slamming doors , stomping it's just straight chaos and I'm so stick of it. It's a shared upstairs apartment, meaning we share walls. Hes not upstairs but right next door. The stomps radiate throughout my entire apartment. I have a 7 month old who continuously gets woken up from the racket. I've explained very nicely, considering. 3 times to him in person. It fell of deaf ears, then decided it might be better to go to my landlord's. It stopped for maybe a month and it's gotten really bad over the past 3 nights. I've been documenting on paper what I hear through the evening and late at night but not late enough for the California law after 10 p.m. my landlords think hes the best thing and I feel like I'm being dramatic. The stomps are so loud it shakes my oven , vibrates the floors and shakes the dishes in my cabinet. I'm at a loss. The rent here is affordable and moving is not an option right now. I dont know what to do but I cant keep living like this. Any advice is very much appreciated. Tia.
