CRUSH ADVICE HELP !!!

I have has a crush on this guy for a while now. I feel silly even saying that because I feel like I’m way to old to have a crush (such high school problems). How do I approach him, like I honestly freak out when I think about sending him and message and get all up in my head and start overthinking things.

I don’t think I’ll get to see him in person for a while, so messaging is my best bet. I’m such a idiot and awkward person when it comes to things like this.

Any advice for a dating virgin ?
