IUD and no period?

So I had mirena inserted about a month and a half ago, got my period last month but it was super light. I haven't had sex since before my last period, so there really is zero chance that I'm pregnant, but my period is over a week late. Is it possible that I just won't get it? My GYNO said it was unlikely and yet..

My period stopped that quickly after I got my Mirena. Haven't had one since July! 😍 it's awesome. Periods stop for lots of people on mirena, it's even the reason I got it

I have had the same experience. I had mine inserted in March and got my period three days later and it was much lighter. I haven’t had my period since. My obgyn said it was possible that it stopped my periods already. I also have PCOS.
