Thinking of joining the navy
Any NAVY active duty here or wives??? My husband is in the army and I’m thinking of joining the navy, I already been to a recruiting office where I live, a petty officer told me to study for a week and to come back and take the pretest again and then the asvab but yesterday I payed an excellent instructor who is from Puerto Rico and gives classes online now from FL, he has awards from all branches for what he does and all his students had passed the asvab with more than a 50 score. I will be studying for a couple of months so I can get a higher score in the asvab, the petty officer told me with my college education(credits) I could start as an E3! I would like any information you guys can give me since my husband is army so he doesn’t know anything about the navy. I’ve watched YouTube videos about Basic training and A School and I love it... I’m headed towards hospital corpsman since it’s only 5 months in the navy, At first I was interested in becoming a nurse or a doctor in the air force but basic and A school combined is a year plus is a requirement to have a bachelors or a doctorate to join the medical field in the AF so that’s a no for me. I have an almost 2 year old daughter so I don’t want anything longer than 5-6 months in the medical area. LPN in the army is 10 months but I don’t really like the army even tho my husband is from that branch😂 PLEASE HELP LADIESSSS ❤️
