I got my BFP this morning & now I’ve got crampy pains in the bottom of my tummy & bottom of my back, they feel like period pains & im terrified it was a false positive or I’m having another chemical😭

I was 100% certain I was going to get my period when I was pregnant with my son. I ended up testing a day after my missed period just to check. It felt the exact same to me as period cramps.

I got my faint line at 11DPO and started cramping the next day. It freaked me out, but it was fine. Cramps are normal in early pregnancy. The uterus is cramping in response to increased progesterone. It’s stretching, getting ready to grow, enlarging as the gestational sac forms and gets bigger. 
If you have cramps with bleeding, that’s a cause for concern. Spotting alone is also normal, but heavier bleeding with cramps is a reason to call the OB.
