First edible

I had my first edible this past Sunday and man it fucked me up. At first, I was happy and couldn't stop laughing but then a few hours later, I got a massive headache and my head felt so heavy. This was my first time trying weed because I'm against the recreational use. My boyfriend occassionally does it and I ate this edible just to loose a bit. We're from total different cultures and from where am from, it is extremely illegal. If I do it again, I'll just continue eating it. I don't smoke at all so it's my only way to consume it
