Acne problems... what’s new? :(

I need to be honest... I’ve been struggling with acne for a longggg time now. I’ve tried everything! From topical creams to antibiotics and birth control, nothing seemed to work. My dermatologist and I finally decided it was time for me to go on actuate. I’m on my third month of the medication and my face has never been this worse. I don’t know what face washes or creams to use, cuz it seems that no matter what I use, it irritates my skin. My prom is on Friday and I’m really dreading having to deal and go with this acne. My boyfriend is not bothered by it at all, but it’s more of a self confidence and deprecation kind of thing. Any advice?
