Explanation??

Question

Ever since my 2months shots he NEVER sleeps or naps through the day anymore. He wakes up at 6am feeds then goes back to sleep till 10 awake from then till 9pm with maybe 20min to 1 hour naps?! But then sleeps drom 10pm to 6am soo its kinda a win situation. Butttt is there a reason?

Sounds a lot like my son. Like the other poster, I attribute this to a developmental step. 
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been focusing on napping and sleep training more. After reading lots of tips online, I am putting baby down throughout the day when I am noticing sleepy cues (rubbing/drooping eyes, yawning, etc). I swaddle baby, and put him down awake in a dark room with his sound machine on then I step away. I’ve been so surprised with the success. Baby is napping longer and better now. Not 100% or as much as before, but much better now.

My baby had her two month shots last Thursday. She’s always been a good night sleeper, (usually sleeps 9pm-6am) but lately she isn’t napping at ALL and it makes our evenings absolutely horrible. I don’t think it’s for sure the shots as much as just the age, though, because she did this the day before her shots as well.

We had our 2 month (8w) shots at 6 weeks due to travel. 
Baby also started sleeping much much better at 8 weeks. So I attributed the sleeping better to a developmental step rather than our shots which were 2 weeks earlier. Maybe it’s just about that age...
But I totally agree, we sure aren’t complaining!!!
