Can people in a relationship have friends of the opposite sex?

Can a girl have guy friends and a boyfriend and vice versa or is this wrong? When in a relationship do you need to get rid of all friends of the opposite gender?

People who are capable of establishing and respecting boundaries in their interpersonal relationships will have no problem being friends with people of the gender to which they are attracted.
It is toxic to think otherwise. It’d be like telling a bisexual person that they can’t have friends at all which is obviously ridiculous.

Me and my husband just stoppes hanging/talking to people of opposite gender kinda out of nowhere. I just have 0 interest in friends of the opposite sex and so does he. Makes us feel awkward lol. I have tons of girl friends and he has a ton of male friends lol. Ita not bad if yall dont. Its Not bad if you do.

Absolutely not! My best friend is a guy, and I work in a pub full of guys. My boyfriend's best friend is a girl!
I wouldn't dream of expecting him to get rid of her and I certainly hope he wouldn't say the same to me!
