Does it sound like early labor is starting?
Ok, this this is my second baby but everything about this pregnancy has been different. I know you’re prob thinking, “if this is her second, how doesn’t she know?” I’ll explain...
So with my first, my water broke at 36 weeks. I was not in active labor though. I was maybe 1cm dilated and not having contractions. I even drove myself to the hospital since my husband was already at work. Once we both were at the hospital I started Pitocin and contractions started very quickly and I had my baby within a couple hours. My point is, I have no clue what it feels like to start natural labor on my own.
I’m 32 weeks and I know that early, but I’m getting some pain and pressure. A lot of low back pain, but I also get this can be normal. It’s just way worse. I also have this pain and pressure in my Lady parts. My stomach is starting so cramp and it’s painful, not like BH. And it seems to be the same on my back and lower belly. As of now it’s not timeable and I can function through it’s it kind of feels like really bad constipation and period cramps, but sharper? If that makes sense. My water has not broke and I have not lost my mucus plug (I don’t think so anyway) I have had really slimy discharge the last couple days)
I know the only way to know for sure is to go to Labor & Delivery, but I figured I’d see if anyone can share their experiences first.
