Growth spurt?

My son is 12 weeks and all he’s wanted to do all day is sleep. He’s not bothered by anything, put him in his bouncer where he usually kicks and kicks and loves to play with the dangly toys but today he’s just rubs his eyes as if he’s tired.

He’s fell asleep cuddling me loads and as soon as I put him down he wakes up within 5 minutes crying until I pick him up where he just falls straight back asleep.

For the past couple of weeks he’s been really active and more awake throughout the day so just wondering if the reason why he’s so sleepy is because maybe he’s going through a growth spurt?

He sleeps all night has well and he’s done for weeks and weeks, sleeps from 9-10pm to 7am
