New to pills, does it take this long?

Sarah 💎💎👑

I am somewhat confused. I am 15, about to turn 16, I have been taking Lo Lestrin Fe (I may have misspelled that) for my cysts for four months, starting a new card on tomorrow. [6/12/19]

My doctor told me it would take about 3 months for my period to either change or disappear completely. I don’t take any placebo pills, only the active pills. This is my first time with any birth control at all, and I am not sexually active.

Instead of it getting better, my period has gotten heavier but shorter, but it is heavier bleeding, a lot harsher cramps and a lot worse headaches and body aches, worse PMS symptoms in general.

What do I do? My appointment back with my doctor isn’t until July 17th, I don’t know what to do?
