Running out of milk during a feed😭

Hi there ladies -

My girl is nearly 11 week old.

breastfeeding has been going really well:

- It’s a beautiful bonding experience every time

- She has lots of wet & dirty nappies

- Sleeps well (couple of daytime naps and then between 5-8 hours at night)

- She has been gaining weight

- Her pee is clear (so she’s hydrated).

But every now & then, I just simply run out of milk for her... especially in the evening!😢

Approx twice a week, she comes off the boob during her evening feed screaming because I have ‘run out’. 😭

I end up having to just hold her close for 15 minutes while my breasts ‘fill up’ or else I have to give her some formula and I pump afterwards.

That’s the only time I pump; if I’m compensating for formula. So when I do pump, I’ll only get 1.5 Oz altogether (10 minutes pump each side).

Im starting to really worry about my supply.

My friends who are breastfeeding both have an over supply so they have a different battle and can’t relate.

Any advice??

(I also don’t leak any milk ever!)
