Check out Catalina Island. I went there for my babymoon. When you are in LA you can drive down south a little (maybe 30 minutes) and take a boat ride to the island and spend the day there.

As long as you avoid the actual heart of the city (it’s dirty af) and Disneyland (ridiculously hot) and go to beaches, you should be good! Just my opinion :)

2nd trimester summer won’t be too hard for you! I’m 2nd trimester in the desert heat and I’m fine for now. I’ve heard the 3rd trimester is what’s gonna be rough, which I’ll be in July August and September 😭😭
