Anyone else have unsure feelings about getting an abortion?

First and foremost, im getting an abortion. It’s the right thing for me in all aspects. I ultimately want an abortion over having a child. HOWEVER, I’m having some feelings of drawback. I’m nervous about the surgery (I’m 10 week along), and I’m worried I’ll regret it a little bit afterwards. I’m so nervous. I feel like even tho i haven’t had the abortion yet, im stuck in the- “what if” mind set. Anyone else have had this experience? Any advise?

I had a medical abortion (pill) at 7 weeks and yeah I did start to feel unsure. At first I was like this is my only option I’m 100% positive and I just want it to be over. But as the days went on until my appointment which was a few weeks away, I started thinking about it more and slowly getting almost attached to it. When I went in and everything got real in that moment I felt a little sad but at the end of the day I needed to do it. I don’t regret it. Abortion is never a happy thing. It’s not fun. Its something no one wants to have to do, but if it’s truly what’s best for your wellbeing then that’s what’s important. 
Then again if you start seriously feeling like you don’t want to, then don’t rush the decision.

I had a surgical abortion at 10-11 weeks, I knew it was the right decision for me and Im not going to lie that the very next day I was depressed but it was the right decision for me. I advise you to be sure of what you want to do.
