Can you feel your tampon once it is inserted?

I can never wear a tampon because I can literally feel it, no matter the size. It is highly annoying. I know I have it inserted properly (as I've had my period for 14 years). I am wondering if any other women struggle with this or if it is just me? I'm posting anonymously because this is somewhat embarrassing.

If you can feel it and it’s uncomfortable you probably didn’t put it in far enough. When that happens I take it out and put it another one.

My first time inserting one felt SUPER uncomfortable but after awhile i finally was able to position it right and never felt it , you really just have to get used to it after awhile of trying you’ll know exactly when it’s in right or wrong because you really shouldn’t feel it if it’s in the right way
