Cartilage piercing?

I really want a cartilage piercing for my birthday, and I’m turning 14 my parents said I could have it a while ago and I have two piercings in each ear. What do y’all think?

One piece of advice from someone with multiple piercings go to an actual tattoo/piercing place. Don’t go to a mall outlet or a place that uses a piercing gun, it can mess your new piercing up. I made that mistake when I got mine pierced many years ago.

I would go for it but I will say I got mine done yesterday and it hurt like a bitch. This was my first actual piercing I’ve gotten (I have two ear lobe piercings and those are nothing haha). I was out shopping yesterday and after getting it pierced it was so swollen and pulsating that I was done for, luckily I had some ibuprofen in my bag which really helped, and I also have a low pain tolerance. I also will say if you like sleeping on your side I would maybe get one at a time. You can’t sleep on your piercing and you won’t even want to so that’s another thing I would think about. The pain for me was so bad that I don’t think I could get another one even in the other ear after just having one done. It does hurt and it hurt me a lot for the rest of the day. It’s like 5am right now and the pain has definitely died down, now it’s just a little sore and I can definitely feel it there.

Go for it! They’re so cute! I agree with the other saying to go somewhere that uses a needle, it’s safer and more sterile. 
I will say that the healing period sucks. Mine hurt pretty consistently for about a week, especially when my hair got caught on it or I bumped it when changing.  I wasn’t able to sleep on it for over a month. So be aware of that!

Sure! Why not.  Just make sure you go to a real tattoo/ piercing place because they'll do it in a way that is completely sanitary, unlike Claire's or whatever other places they have at the mall.

Cute piercing but will be a pain for school. You will no doubt be made to take it out which will cause problems with the healing process. If they are not allowed in your school i would wait if i was you.
