Herpes?

Question

I think I have genital herpes but I’m really young and I’ve never done anything to get them? HELP😭 it was just like a big pimple at first so I thought it was either that or an ingrown hair.  Then, I tried to pop it so it started bleeding and oozing.  The next day, it’s scabbed over.  
Edit: it also hurts and I get ingrown hairs a lot yet they never scan over and they’re usually smaller.

Just FYI there’s immense stigma against herpes when it’s actually incredibly common. 1/4 people in the world have HSV-1 and 1/6 people in the world have HSV-2. Most people are asymptomatic which makes it spread easier. As other responses have said, herpes outbreaks are more like clusters than a single bump. 
However, I also wanted to mention that you don’t have to “do anything” to get herpes. HSV-1 is commonly passed along to babies/children (accidentally) by parents/older adults that are asymptomatic/unaware of their HSV status and share food and/or kiss them. MOST people live with herpes asymptomatic so don’t get tested for it throughout their lives (it’s not even tested for in STD tests unless you ask for a full panel test because of how common it is/how much it has spread). 
Lastly, it’s not the end of the world if you get it sometime in your life. It’s like an inconvenient wart. It’s not deadly and it doesn’t define you or your sexual habits. It’s really common and happens and that stigma needs to end.

Nope. You’ll know if you have genital herpes if it’s your first out break. You get flu symptoms like a fever and sore throat achines etc.  Usually they are sore filled with white puss and you will know they’re sore because they hurt like a B**** it will hurt to walk pee basically move. However, MOST people have herpes and have no symptoms where they can be asymptomatic. Go to your doctor and have them swab you and ask for a 10 panel std test to know your true status. Remember over 25 mil American have GHSV2 80% don’t know they have herpes because it can be dormant. And 50% of the genital herpes case come from oral sex.

If it helps at all, if you were experiencing a first herpes outbreak it wouldn’t be just one- it would be more like clusters and you probably wouldn’t be second guessing at all in all honesty.. you likely had an ingrown hair that was bigger than what you’ve normally had, because sometimes it will stretch the skin apart and when you pop it it’ll just scab over to heal.

Could be an abscess. I’ve had those in my armpits before. Painful af! When a large abscess pops there will be a lot of off white/yellow discharge.

It might just be a bigger ingrown hair than you're used to, or maybe it got slightly infected or inflamed. 
Unless you've been, like, idk sitting on public toilet floors naked or something like that, I really don't believe you have any reason to worry!
