Question

So my S/O of over a year now. Have known each other for 4 all together. He’s always wanted to have one just to say he’s done it but I just don’t know. I’m scared about things and we do talk about it and everything. For people who’ve done it. Could you share your experience with to try and reassure me?

If you’re not sure about it I wouldn’t advice it. For something like that you both have to be 100% comfortable with it and have complete trust in each other. You can’t bring any insecure or negative thoughts into it. If you do, the energy you bring into it will not make it end well. Other people are saying don’t do it if you’re in a serious relationship but it’s not about that. There are plenty of couples who are in a strong long term relationship who do this kind of thing or have an open relationship. It’s just that this kind of stuff works only for certain people with certain mindsets.

i posted this earlier on a completely different post but maybe you can gain some insight..

you allowing a third party into your relationship is seriously like opening the gates of hell. all i hear you say is HE wants to do it. and just to say he did it? girl if he wants to try something new take his ass to an ice cream parlor and try different flavors! 9/10, he’s telling you another female and would not let it be with another guy. tell him to watch you get f*d.

Don’t do it if you want a serious/exclusive relationship with him. I did it and I couldn’t stop thinking,  he was thinking about her. It made me very self conscious. That relationship lasted three years. I have learned about myself. Currently, I have been with my husband for fourteen years and wouldn’t want to bring a third into our sex life.
