SAHM how do you get stuff done around the house with a baby?

I'm wondering what do you guys do in order to get stuff done like cleaning while managing with baby? How much can you actually get done with a baby in a carrier? And how much time does your little one play independently when while you do chores? Thank you!

I try and clean/prep dinner during naps. I also get things done first thing in the morning since that is when my little one is most content with just laying in her pack n play or on the floor with a few toys.

Until my son started crawling and wasn’t quite as clingy, I basically waited until my husband, MIL, or mom was here. It’s not ideal but you figure something out and just don’t do things unless they are essential.

Baby wearing was helpful during the first 4 months, then she was pretty confident playing by herself so I'd clean while she played. Now she's toddling around everywhere and makes more messes so I try to keep her busy in a certain room while I clean nearby.

I do everything during naps. For now My little takes 2 2 hour naps a day so that gives me plenty of time to get everything done in a day.

Take advantage of when the baby is sleeping. Also learn to do A LOT with one hand. 
Sometimes the baby carrier can help a lot. Just strap the baby in to your chest and get going

I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and able to get stuff done once they are fed and changed. My 2 year old can usually play independently and I either have my 5 month old on the floor on his mat or in his chair depending on if we are upstairs or downstairs.

Clean when they sleep. Until they get older then just occupy them with toys until they get old enough to help
