Could it be flu?

Is it possible for a kid to have the flu with absolutely no other symptoms except for a fever that's ranging 100-102?? Or could it be something else? Kid is playing, eating and drinking good. Also had this fever since Tuesday.

A fever doesnt equate a flu it is signs of the body fighting illness, literally any illness

If it's just a fever it could be a UTI, ear infection, or viral infection that may just turn into a rash when the fever subsides - like roseola

I’d get him checked. Could be strep? I had strep as a kid multiple times with no symptoms. Usually found out because my sister had and it and I got checked too.
