5 year Bucket List

Nicole • Married, mother of 👦🏼🧒🏻, 🐶🐕 mom, 🌱 plant-based, 🎗 survivor

I’m looking for some help. I just got the call that my cancer, which was undetectable, has recurred. It’s going to be a few weeks before all of the results are back, but I’m terrified it has spread. If that’s the case, the 5 year survival rate isn’t promising.

I have two kids, a 3 year old and 4 year old. I’m also a major planner and while the uncertainty is still allowing me to think rationally, I want to reach out for help.

If you thought that it was likely that you would be dead in 5 years, what would you do? How would you spend your time, what would you do to prepare for your kids after you’re gone? Some things are easy, like wills and transferring finances and funeral arrangements, but what about the special stuff? I’m looking for ways I might make this time meaningful for me, my family, and for after I’m gone.

Please help.
