Lesion inside vagina?

Had a Pap smear today and when the doc put the speculum in she said there was a bleeding wound inside.

I’m kind of freaking out because 4 months ago my boyfriend and I were both tested and negative for everything even though I’ve been having continuous pain during intercourse.

I haven’t had sex in over a week, so if this wound is from that long ago that’s bad because it should be healed by now. Or it’s something else which is alarming because nothing has been inside my vagina since over a week ago😭😭😭

I’m trying to stay calm but I just wish I could have a normal healthy sex life. My boyfriend of almost two years is the only person ive ever been with and we’ve been so careful I just don’t know what it could be and why I’m constantly suffering during sex and why this wound has appeared :((

Want to stay anon but in response to the three questions below:

1. She didn’t know what it was from or what it means until the test results come back. Probably could mean a million different things😅

2. She was a gyno

3. She did test for herpes and I’m waiting for results

In the meantime I’ve been anxiously waiting and posting my worries here (:

UPDATE

Herpes test came back negative for 1 and 2. Which is partially a relief, still worried about what it could be causing this wound. She said it was bleeding but I definitely wasn’t bleeding before she started poking around with the Q tips lol, but still that shouldn’t make me bleed
