What to eat for last dinner?!?

I’m getting induced at 7:30pm on Friday (tomorrow) and the dr told me to eat a good dinner before I go in because they aren’t allowed to feed me. Any Suggestions on food?!?😝

Agree on eating something on the light side but also high in carbs/good protein. Before my induction I had eggs, wheat toast and a really lean turkey burger patty.

I wouldn't do anything too heavy. Labor can sometimes make women nauseous and cause vomiting. I would concentrate on healthy foods, veggies, grilled chicken, salads, etc

Something with protein, not too greasy and I would also avoid gassy foods like (a lot of) beans. 
I had grilled salmon with brown rice and veggies.

I was told to eat light but enough to tie me over while in labor. Take hard candies with you to suck on during labor. Helps a lot.

If you eat a heavy meal eat earlier than usual to give yourself time to digest!!!

I had scallops and risotto at a nice restaurant before hubby and I checked into the hospital. My induction personally took forever so I was glad I had eaten a hearty meal. Just a quick tip that if your induction takes longer than expected to ask for food in between breaks because when I finally asked I was happily surprised that they told me I could have something (I was starving!).

Both my kids I went out the night before to my favorite restaurant. My oldest was an induction and second planned c section. Just don’t eat super late and you should be ok to eat whatever you want the day before.
