i caught my boyfriend watching porn while having sex with me

okay so yeah you read that right. me and my boyfriend don’t have the best of relationships, we’ve been kind of having trouble and we’ve only been together for just over a year. i’m 18, nearly 19 and he’s 20, nearly 21.

the past few times when we’ve been having sex he’s been asking to do it in the doggy position, i thought he was just trying to open up to new things until today. we were having sex and all of a sudden i heard a loud porn scene noise that he then quickly turned off. i walked out it the room and sat in the shower upset and sent him a text message because i felt too embarrassed to talk to his face.

he told me that it wasn’t because of me but he wouldn’t give me a reason as to why. he now can’t understand why i’m so upset and why i feel so ugly ( i’ve recently gained a little weight and it’s made me think that might be why ). i don’t think i’ve felt so hurt.

should i just leave him? he won’t talk to me he’s so stubborn about it and he won’t give me a reason why. he’s saying i’m overreacting. am i?
