So my children’s father is going away on vaca for over a week on Wednesday morning.

(We are no longer together but still sleep together etc. Very confusing, but not important here really)

Since Saturday of this week I have been saying to him to arrange with me times for him to see the kids (he usually just comes over random days when it suits him)

Because he is away for over a week he wanted to see them before. He said Monday & Tuesday nights he would like to see them.

Monday night came and he was too tired from work. Ok.

Tuesday night? I’ve asked him and he says he’s going to his aunts for a KFC for his sisters birthday so he can’t see the children. ( kids can’t go with him because his family are mainly drug addicts)

He is not even close with his family, they have nothing to do with my children through their own choice.

But am I wrong for being mad?

He asked to see them Wednesday before he goes but I am working & my grandmother is taking care of them for me. He says he will take them from her for an hour but she has plans and I’m not asking her to cancel for him? When he has had DAYS to see them?

I told him I’m mad that the children aren’t his priority.

I would mind if it wasn’t for him not seeing them for over a week because of vacation. Now it’ll be an extra few days he doesn’t see them because he chooses to do something else over seeing them.?

Am I over reacting ?
