Would you paint your sons finger nails if he asked?

My son is 6 and he likes when i paint his nails. I only paint 2 of them (one on each hand) and ive only done it 3 times. I didnt think it would be an issue bc he's not in school so there arent any kids to make fun of him, and the only people hes around during the summer are family. I thought at the very least i could trust my family to respect my parenting choices and ignore it, but apparently that was asking to much, bc my son came home from his grandparents house with the polish removed. Honestly, I'm pretty mad about it bc i had just had a discussion with my dad about it when he brought up his dislike of it and i thought i had made my point clear. My son likes it, its not hurting him or anyone else, so im not seeing the issue; life is short, do what makes you happy? Also, i put a lot of thought into it when i decided to allow it and i only really came up with positive reasons with allowing it. Such as, it keeps my son from bitting on his fingers, it teaches my son to be open minded and to not judge others who might be different, it teaches him that its okay to like things that others might not like, it teaches him that hes allowed to be different, and if (when hes older) he tourns put to be anything but straight he'll know that his parents are behind him 100% and that he never has to hide who he is. My father believes hes not old enough to make the decision to wear it, which i think is stupid. What makes this such a big decision that he cant make it? If my dad thinks its some how liked to sexuality, well lets be honest, i dont think wearing nail polish at 6 years old says anything about his sexuality. Hes 6 and doesnt know what sexuality means. If you ask him if he likes boys or girls, he'll say both. If you ask him if he has a girlfriend, he'll say yes and that he has boyfriends too; bc he has boys that are friends and girls that are friends.

Seriously though, hes just a 6 year old who likes pretty colors🤔
