Interracial relationship

First time dating someone of color . I'm white and he is mixed. Hes brown with an afro . I've noticed people have been staring at us and I've asked him how he dealt with this in his past relationships. How did yall deal with it or the head shakes or if someone makes a racial slur ? I'm new to this type of thing and never experienced this and I dont thinks it's right. I domt see color. I see his soul . I dont care what people think. I have two children and I see them staring at all of us . Heard someone say I'm too pretty and etc etc . Like I dont understand at all .
