Every week???

My boyfriend and I are moving an hour and a half away from our town. His car gets HORRIBLE mileage, and gas is so expensive. We’re already going to be tight on money because rent is going to cost us $600 each, and we’re only earning $1000 per paycheck. He told me his mom said she wants him to visit EVERY WEEKEND. Uh...? Im definitely not saying he can’t, that’s his own choice, and it’s his car 100%. But I just put my thought out there saying “you know gas is really expensive right? Plus that road is going to be a dangerous bitch to drive in the winter. I can’t say no because I don’t control you, but I’d seriously reconsider visiting every weekend. Maybe every other weekend? Can’t they drive up to see you?” His dad was forced to retire early due to an accident 4 years ago, and all he does is sit around the house all day. I wouldn’t say no to visits at all! I adore his parents.

Me? my family doesn’t really care. My mom will make any excuse to come up and see me. I might only see my family once or twice a month if I’m lucky.
