How do i tell them?

i don't want my mom or any other person kissing my son, but im scared to say it... I was thinking something like " His pedi said nobody should be kissing him " 😫🤭 Hellp.. Im mexican so they'll most likely be like we kissed all our babies & nobody said anything. Help 😫😫😫😫

Good luck 👍. I am forever having these talks.  Kissing is the tip of the iceberg.  Just remember...
1 the baby does NOT need water before 6mths. 
2 the baby s allowed in the outside world before 40days if mom wants!! Lol. 
3 You can always try to buy them off with tres Leche and scary story about a baby dying because death and ghosts always win out

You can definitely tell them it's recommended by doctors not to kiss infants, that would be the truth. If they still have a problem show them the articles of those poor babies who end up in the hosptial because of it.

We were 100% against anyone kissing our baby and we told them all ahead of time. The nurse in the hospital told us that so we were able to use her as an excuse. I am so not confrontational at all, but I knew I’d never forgive myself if our son got sick because we didn’t lay down the rules. I know it’s so hard, you just have to be strict about it if it’s important to you

You have to lay the rules out to everyone you know, family or not. It’s going to piss some people off, but they’ll get over it. If they have an issue with it, provide them with some education. Babies can die from herpes simplex type 1 aka like a cold sore...except many people don’t even know they’re carriers! They may not have ever had a cold sore or any symptoms- but a large majority of people have it. If transferred to a newborn, you can be looking at a pretty grim situation. In hopes of educating people around me, I always share the posts I come across of babies who were infected with herpes simplex type 1 and did not make it. The parents always share their situation with the world in hopes of getting the word out so it doesn’t happen to other babies. So I’m always happy to pass that along, I hope it makes my family more understanding as well.

Just tell them, we don’t want anyone kissing the baby(s) And please to respect our wishes. My kids are half Mexican and my husband side of the family we’re kinda like wtf ? At first but is on board with us. Funny I seem this post because just today my hateful ass sister who has herpes kissed my 7 month old baby on her face and eye and now I’m freaking out.. hoping your family respects your wishes. I literally told my man we’re moving across the water that way we don’t gotta see family. I’d rather  keep my kids healthy as long as I can then see people who disrespect us but have to be nice cuz there “family”

Just tell them straight up. You know Hispanics don’t like beating around the bush. Your kid and they need to respect your wishes.
