Is it okay to leave a yeast infection?

Hi! I’m currently on holiday in Spain, I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I’ve just found out whilst over here that I’ve got a yeast infection (thrush). I’ve just been to the pharmacist here and he says I need to have a doctors note to receive the tablet but he’s given me some over the counter cream to apply in the mean time. Is this okay until I fly back Tuesday night? Obviously the itching will stop but the infection won’t be going anywhere! Thanks x
