How do you know your ready for Baby #2?

My daughter just turned 2...& Hubby and I feel like we want to start trying for #2. Our daughter is so demanding though and has a very stubborn personality literally since BIRTH lol I’m worried about what our new family dynamic would be or if we are “ready”...how did you decide? Also, how long did it take you to conceive #2 after you got off oral birth control pills?

We knew we wanted another very close. I had pcos so we thought itd take longer and the first month we actually tried I got pregnant. 
How we knew we were ready? We loved our son and we wanted him to acclimate properly with our second. I was worried that as an older child he'd have trouble adapting, especially since he himself is very stubborn and strong willed. He adapted perfectly and loves his baby sister. Honestly, no matter the age difference, having more than one child will prove to be more difficult that having one.
