Pregnancy after iud removal HELP!

Hello! I had to remove my one ovary about 2 years ago & recently had a close call with the other ovary almost having to be removed as well. For that reason I may have to move up my life timeline & start trying to conceive! I have an appointment with a fertility doctor the end of September but how long did it take you ladies to get pregnant after iud removal? I’m torn wether I should wait for my appointment or get the iud taken out now and let god decide the rest.😓
