Too early?

Is it possible to be pregnant but get a negative ? I think I’m pregnant but I took a test yesterday and it came back negative I haven’t missed a period yet I’m just guessing I am because I’m having a lot of the same symptoms I did when I was pregnant but I could be wrong. AF should start in like 5 days

So it is possible I tested to early and I’m pregnant or am I most likely expecting my period and the test was meant to show positive?

The reason I’m unaware how this works is because I have PCOS and I literally have no idea how I got pregnant with my first it was basically just a miracle lol my cycles were never on track and I don’t know when I ovulate
