Allergy testing?

Have any of you had your child tested for allergies? 
I think my almost 8mdaughter might be allergic to cantaloupe and will mention it to her pediatrician at her next appointment. Wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.

I had my kid tested at six months because her eczema was so severe, we were trying to find causes.

I've had it done they will do eaither do patches for a week needles or little prick things and just kind of tap it on her back it dosnt hurt though

we requested it but our pediatrician said it’s so invasive and dramatic that unless there is a severe reason, dont put them through all of the needles and stuff. just avoid that food for a little while.
