Carpal tunnel??

Has anyone had postpartum carpal tunnel? Was it breastfeeding related for you? How long did it last?

I had it during pregnancy starting at around 30 weeks and it lasted until my daughter was about 4 weeks old.

It started for me when I was about 38 weeks pregnant and it lasted until my LO was almost a year. I had De Quervain's Tendinosis though. I went to massage therapy and wore braces at night and it helped a lot. My pain was generally in my thumbs and went through my wrists and half way up my fore arm. Some days it got so bad I could barley hold my LO. I also used to rub an ice cube on it when it got really bad and that helped a lot too.

I felt wrist pain first few weeks of bf Bc of my cross cradle position. Now I can bf hands free so it stopped hurting.
