Do you sing to your baby?

I never thought I would, which may sound silly, but I do! All the time! And as cliche as I always thought it was, I mostly sing her to sleep as she nurses. My daughter is four and half months old now and I mostly make up the songs I sing to her but there’s one particular nursery song she absolutely loves and I find myself singing it to her every single day at naptime and bedtime: Baby Beluga by Raffi! I even bought a stuffed beluga whale and the book that goes along with the song for her! She loves this song and lights up every time I sing it or play it in the car.

Always, always! Read an article recently about millennial parents sing LESS to their children than any other group in history 🧐 instead they use music apps and devices. I certainly don’t sing well but my LO recognizes it immediately and it makes him smile every single time. LO is even starting to “sing” with me!

My 8 week old loves when I sing "good morning" from singing in the rain to him right after he wakes up in the morning.

I love singing to my baby and sometimes she’ll hum along. She hummed herself to sleep one it was the cutest thing ever. 
I don’t really know the nursery rhymes so I just make up random words that usually don’t make sense and then I make myself laugh 😂

I sing or hum to my daughter.   It's always "Mary had a Little lamb" or random songs/bits of songs I make up.  I tend to hum alot(like while cleaning or at work) and sing along to the radio.  I guess it's calming/keeps my mind busy.  But my daughter has kinda started singing/acting silly(trying to dance) just like me and it's pretty cute.

I've been singing to my baby since I found out I was having a baby!
When it's time to sleep I him "Deep and Wide" over and over because it starts and ends on the same note so my Little Bird doesn't try to keep track of the song. If you sing the same words on repeat he gets frustrated.
