Catholic baptism?

My daughter is getting baptized in the Catholic Church. My husband is Catholic, and I am currently working on joining the church. I have zero idea how to throw a baptism party and I need serious help! Has anyone here celebrated a Catholic baptism? What are crucial things I need or need to do for the party? Do you have photos you could share?

I agree with what everyone else said, it’s just like a regular party. We made Mexican food and had family over. That was about it.

We just had our entire family and friends come back to our house for a big brunch. We had tons of food and mimosas. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. It can be as extravagant or as laid back as you want it to be.

Baptism is like a normal party with food, cake and presents...almost like a birthday party.

We just had regular parties for my daughters and catered chicken, beef, pasta ect..but we have the room in our house for that. Otherwise, I'd rent a hall and cater (assuming you're inviting a lot of people). If it's a smaller group, honestly I'd just do a nice lunch or dinner for everyone.
